Good morning campers!
Are you serious? It's been a week since I wrote? whoah nelly..time is getting away from me these days!
I am happy to report I am finally feeling 100% after my bout with pneumonia in January and then the flu last month.... I have heard of 2 deaths due to pneumonia going undetected..so if you are feeling terrible after a "cold"..running a fever..deep cough that won't go away... do not hesitate going to the Dr.... scary stuff people...
Thanks for all the birthday wishes and cards and e cards..this birthday was a quiet one for me at my request..I don't know why this one bothered me so..just the sound of 46..sounds old to me..:-( ..anyway it has come and gone and I am still here and feel just like I did the day before so I am not going to dwell on it..age is just a number right? I want some new glasses so everyone contributed to my "glasses fund".. hubby did get me a beautiful orchid..I just hope I don't kill it it is gorgeous..I must take a pic...we went out to dinner and I went for drinks with the girls.so all in all it was a nice birthday....

Well I must get off here and get ready for work...we only have one DR. in the clinic this week so it should be a piece of cake...hope everyone had a glorious Easter and spent time with the people they love...

Awwwww you are so young...try reversing those numbers and then you can start to feel old...I'm still celebrating every birthday and thankful for the blessings each year brings. But hey, I'm not old yet so I guess in that case you are a meer babe.

SO happy your doing better now! Ya that stuff is sure scarey! We have had this awful cough for weeks now and it's about driving me nuts! Just me and my older son have it... and my daughter before that. I just hope my little one doesn't get it. Glad to see you here today :) Hope you day is a good one!
I was wondering how you were doing. I am so glad that you are feeling better. I also need new glasses and new contacts! I am going to be dropping a lot of money on my own eyes soon. Then before school starts I will have to get Ryan new glasses. Oh the joy's. 46, that is not old. I believe what Oprah said " I only get better with age" That is so true! Just think you got better.

Girl I am so sorry that I missed your 29th birthday! I am more scattered then usual lately ... pup with a broken foot that turned into a serious infection under the cast ... kids coming home from college and planning on bringing our Marine home ... old lady aches and pains ... and command performances from my mother ... not to mention 24 hour a day Big Brother stake outs. ::G:: Anyway my point is that I feel badly that I missed your birthday ... even when people say don't make a fuss, they still enjoy the fuss and feel special and I wish I had been a part of that for you.

I am glad to hear that you are feeling better that is good news. I did want to wish you a "HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY" I hope you enjoyed every single minute of it. As for me I have been busy at work going and going and going. I have been doing a lot of reading some good books recently and I have been getting more and more into reading them and starting on other ones. Have you read any good books lately ?? I think a lot of us will start seeing days, maybe weeks go by without entries.....as the weather gets warmer. I know I'll be outside......LOVE the summer!

With improved weather (in some locations) people are spending more time outside than at the computer. I guess it's expected that entries slow down a bit in the spring/summer.

I've been fighting the stomach flu, broncitis and upper respiratory infection for 10 days now...been on cherratussin and levaquin....all i have left is the tussin...fever is gone, runny nose is gone but still congested with the deep cough...a coworker told me today i need to get a cool mist vaporizor to keep by my bed...she said it helped her grandaughter tons. Let's only hope this goes away and soon, everyone I know thats had it...it has taken forever to go away this year.
