Good Morning Campers!

 Hope everyone is having a great weekend.. it is soooooooooooo HOT here...thought it was time I did another catch up session before I forget everything...LOL..

Tuesday..

 Arrived at the beach house about noon...unpacked and hit the beach with our cooler of beer and a bottle of bubbly..no one on the beach except us..you could see some surfers down by the pier and some kids in the distance but our little piece of heaven was deserted.. that is until surfer dude shows up...nice tan young fella...he said hello I said hello back...no big deal...next minute I see a flash of white and there is his little bum on display...he lost his shorts in the surf..we giggled and carried on enjoying our drinks and conversation..next minute we hear

"excuse me ladies..I appear to have lost my shorts"

surfer dude is now bare arse naked...attempting to cover his manhood with his hands...not too succesfully I might add.. ;-)... Di and I are trying really hard not to lose it.. she thinks I arranged this whole thing for her birthday...LOL...anyway I offer dude my towel so he can go back to his hotel and get some clothes because it is obvious his shorts are gone...he thanks me and takes off...of course Di and I are almost hysterical at this point...let's just say the dude was well endowed and the cold water did not have the usual effect it has on men...LOL...his attempt at covering his self was a waste of time because we saw more than enough...so anyway he comes back with my towel..this in itself shocked me because I thought he would have been too embarrassed to bring it back but he did..then he decides he wants to get to know us better...he starts in on this whole deserted beach thing...about how we could go topless if we wanted..he knew how us "Europeans" were etc etc.... let's just say the little dude was trying his luck..as flattered as we were (not) we turned him down and eventually he got the hint and cleared off...I have to say it made a great story to re hash over the champagne and the more we talked about it the funnier it got...all I know is I am glad Di was with me because no one would ever believe me if she wasn't...;-)

Wednesday

Woke up at 6.15 to watch the sun rise over the ocean.. both a little hung over from the festivities the night before..we had gone out for dinner and then to a pub...we went down to the pier and had breakfast then back to bed for a couple of hours...we did a little shopping and hung out on the beach..and YES he was there again..this time he managed to keep his shorts on and we were saved when a thunderstorm forced us to leave the beach rather quickly...we went for pizza in the evening and were out cold by 10pm...

Thursday...

breakfast at a cute little bagel shop..more beach time..cleaned the house and washed the linens ..packed up and home by 4...

Friday...

hung out by the pool...went for the usual Friday night Mexican food and margaritas ..then on to the pub by the river...

Saturday..

Had Father in law and a few friends over for a barbecue...swam in the pool ...nice relaxing day...

Today we are going shopping..out for lunch and the to the movies to see "knocked up".. tomorrow I have to work and then Tuesday it's back to Sanford for Di's flight home...the 2 weeks have flown by..Di is tan..relaxed and refreshed and has a killer beach story to tell....;-) I am going to miss her like crazy and know I will be bawling at the airport...

I miss you all but I had to shut off my alerts...I had over 600 and there is just no flipping way man...( I seem to have picked up the surfer lingo)

In a way I can't wait to get back to my normal routine...vacations are fun but like all good things they have to come to an end...although Di thinks my life is one big vacation and I have to say she might be right... ;-)
