Good Morning campers!!
How are we all?? I like the new way of seeing who has left you a comment..that way I can read my favourites first..LOL..yes I did say that because you all know you have your favourites that you want to read first..and some you just skim through...come on admit it...LOL... So where was I? oh yea...catching up..as usual I have been trying to keep up with alerts and neglecting my own writing ..not to mention our house has been torn upside down this week..anyway I am here now so let me re-cap the week so far...
Sunday
My mood was much improved...the weather was great and I spent an enjoyable couple of hours reading by the pool... grilled steaks for supper and watched a great movie "breaking and entering" with Jude Law..
Monday
Work. ...drama as always.... the receptionist did not balance the money before she left Friday so the office manager gave it to me to do..there was a $100 missing..receptionist said it was a $100 note..well it was NOT there when I counted and I did no appreciate being dragged into it as I wasn't even there Friday..all I did was count what was handed to me...we have yet to find it...I was there till 8 trying to figure it all out.... Air conditioner guys were back to REPLACE all the duct work in the attic...no it could not be fixed..it all had to be replaced..and it cost a LOT...:-( BUT house is cold now ..including Rachel and Ryan's rooms that were always hot..so everyone except the bank manager is happy... ;-)
Tuesday
Air conditioner guys finished up their work..they took a shine to my hubby..so much so that they were all hanging out on the deck shooting the breeze..LOL...asked me when was I going to fire up the grill and make them hot dogs and hamburgers..I told them with what I am paying you you should be grilling me filet mignon..LOL..great bunch of lads though...went to the library and got me some more books.. I am reading about 2 a week at the moment so figured I might as well make use of the library...got the house back in order but was told to leave the dusting for a couple of days to give the ducts chance to blow it all out...ewwww..
Wednesday
Ryan's 17th birthday..had taken him shopping on base to get a couple of outfits and yet another white pair of sneakers...:-)...he is now 6' 7" and I truly have to look UP to see his face....everywhere we go people stare at him..he hates it..he also hates his acne and we are now trying Proactiv..I feel so bad for him..and yes Gaz he has even tried TCP...;-) Happy Birthday to the absolute joy of my life and the holder of my heart...read last years entry for June 6th to read more about my one and only son...I worked Wednesday also..quiet day patient wise but we have some new docs that have "rented" an examining room from us to conduct clinical trials for new drugs in..they were getting on my last nerve asking me a million questions and how does this work and where is the fax, copier, paper etc etc....we are a paperless office so all faxes come via the computer so every five minutes they would ask me to check to see if they got any faxes..YES they are getting a separate fax machine...
Thursday
Today..so far I have been to the gym..walked 2 miles on a 2.0 incline at 4 mph....I am hot sweaty and ready to hit the shower but am determined to clear my emails first including my alerts... hubby and his friend are going to be fixing the pump house to the pool that has been broken FOREVER...I told hubby that if he didn't fix my pump house I was taking the new truck back...;-) I want everything just right before Di comes..speaking of which she will be here Tuesday..I have to drive down to Orlando to get her... hate that drive..back to today...I need to dust every surface in this house and get everything back in order...hate having workmen in the house....although have to say those young guys weren't too hard on the eyes...;-)
okay all caught up...have a great Thursday everyone...here is my five....

3...rain..we have had plenty of it this week.. the grass is looking good..it was getting parched...

I use Proactiv and I love it. I can't believe he is 6'7"!!!

Looks like Alerts are down yet again! I had wondered why not too many people had visited my blog today. Darn AOL! Oh well, I am making my way through everyone's journal so I can see what they are up to on my own! Happy Birthday to Ryan! That's one thing I surely miss over here, good old Air Conditioning! I like the new way of seeing the alerts as well!

I started using a feed reader a few weeks ago, so I can see right off who has left a post or not. Works wonders like today when alerts are down once again. Wish AOL would get it together. You have had one busy week hon! Wish Ryan a wonderful 17th from me. In the midst of all this worry about Di coming to visit, try to find some "me" time for yourself. (Hugs) Indigo

i spent hours and hours and hours adding many graduation videos and more deleted my alert than commented. Aint that a bitch? I never skim, i try to comment on every "friends" journal but i may have to be more picky. I bet you are so excited about Di coming...i hope the visit brings you much joy. Happy Birthday to your lad...Am hoping my just turned 16 year old who is 6'3" STOPS growing NOW...I can't get trousers long enough to fit him as it is without him getting as tall as your lad...A 34" leg is considered long for a bloke in the UK...So trying to get 35" is a nightmare...My ex mother in law is going to buy for me in the states when she goes over there in sept though...Shame their father who lives in Houston can't send some over but he's a prat LOL...Oh to have a pool to swim in and laze around...If i ever win our lotto amd going to buy me a holiday home in Florida...Can't help with acne am afraid...None of my 3 have really had it...The odd spot but they've been lucky and inherited no acne gene from me Caff xxxx
Glad you got your A/C fixed. My house is in chaos right now. The guys got the first coat of paint on the plaster in the pool. Looks awesome. We had white plaster & they painted it light blue. It's going to look neat. You son is 6'7" and 17? Does he play basketball? Happy Belated Birthday to him!

Hello I'm not sure I've ever commented in your journal anyway glad I'm here and thanks for the email alert. Loved your five always nice to be thankful, Happy Birthday to your son (wow sounds like a basketball player in the process), glad your a/c got fixed I know what it's like to be in the heat my house use to be 90 degrees inside, Nice that you're getting company and congrats on the weight loss. Hope you get that pool in action before the company gets in.

You work in a paperless medical office? That's what caught my eye as I read you for the first time-finally! I cannot imagine such a thing! The medical offices I worked in were drowning in paper, and we spednt hours shuffling through piles, praying we'd find whatever result we needed soon, next pile, the one after that! Thanks for reading myjoutnal, and I have been enjoying the bit I've gotten to read so far. Margo
