Morning Campers. Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Mine has been so bloody BORING!!! No one but myself to blame for that I guess. I have watched a couple of movies, read a little, spent countless hours on here, cleaned my house, done all the laundry,but I am still bored....grrrrr hate feeling like this..I hate to admit it but I am lonely...I am fine during the week but come the weekends when everyone is out doing family things I feel lost and lonely..there I have admitted it...my kids are busy with their own lives.. Rachel is down in Fort Lauderdale with one of her friends checking out colleges..Ryan has been in and out all weekend...but mostly just me and the dog.. I have been out..went shopping etc but haven't really done anything...I am determined not to have another weekend like this one so I am going to make an effort and call some people before next weekend...doesn't help that my best friend who I can always count on to do something is down in Disney with his family having a much deserved break....
Enough of the pity party....on to happier things..hubby called and wants me to plan a little trip to Vegas!!! Woo hoo vegas baby!!! Now I have heard that there are ways to get really good deals..that there is so much competition out there that they really want your business...so if anyone has any hook ups or tips please send them my way.. this will be in January..for a weekend...leave thursday come back Sunday...I am excited... do you think hubby knows I need a little cheering up?? Bless him....
Hope everyone is having a much livlier weekend than me...doesn't help that it has rained on and off all weekend.. if the sun was out I would be out by that pool with my book and not a worry in the world....

Hubby loves you and wants to make you happy. I have never been to LV so i know nothing about it. Try to enjoy the time to yourself...even if it is boring. You were still doing things you liked to do.

I wish I was with you too. . .I would be in your pool raining or not . . lol. It can feel lonely if everyone has gone off to do their thing. Mum gets left to do all the housework and shopping.I am wondering what books you like Lyn?
You sure can't get bored in Vegas! I'm sorry you are having a tough weekend. We are too as the big people in the house are sick. The little ones barely got it but my dh and I have been really badly hit with it.

I know how you feel. Although my husband lives with me he does a radio programme on Saturday mornings and another on Sunday afternoons, so I can hear him but we can't do things together.
This morning, as it was such a beautiful day I hurried breakfast and we took the dog and went to Bewdley for a walk along the river before he had to go to the studio but usually I spend most of the weekend days on my own.

awww so sorry you had such a boring weekend. Vegas with hubby sounds wonderful though. You can only clean so much and only do so much laundry. My kids have there own lives too these days so I understand. Hopefully next weekend you'll get a hold of someone and go out. Have a great day.
