Good Morning Campers!!
Rise and Shine!
Decided to do a Thankful Thursday post..used to do them all the time..actually Gratitude is what got me started online..I used to belong to a "Gratitude Board"..remember boards?? LOL.. we all used to get together every day and post our gratitude on the "board" every day..we all became great friends and it was a happy time in my life when my hubby was deployed a lot and I was lonely..of course like most good things it came to an end but I have fond memories of days spent on my old desk top...
So here we go:
1. Big Lots..I bought 5 paperbacks there yesterday for $2 a piece..I like paperbacks for out by the pool..the Kindle for reading in Bed..
2..An evening to myself last night..hubby and son went to a Memorial dinner on base...it was bliss!
3... Being recognized at work .. :-)
4.... Rain..we have had plenty of it the last few days and I am grateful I haven't had to water..
5..... Figuring out how to post pics on here..
6...... Losing the "water" weight I gained after a weekend of over indulging..all 7lbs of it!!!
7....... Lazy mornings in bed with the Laptop and coffee
8........ Finally finding something that works for the fleas on my poor little Yorkie..Armour..it's the same as Frontline but available at Walmart for $25
9.........My Plumeria plant finally blossomed!! these things need more babying than a baby!!
10.......... Blogging again!! Thanks for reading!
Take care.. L xx

Being thankful is something I try to write about every Thursday on my blog too. I agree that paperbacks are much better for pool side reading. I'd be afraid my Kindle would get wet and ruined. Our pools don't open till Memorial Day weekend here. I love the one here at our Campground. It is big, clean and heated when necessary. It's ready and waiting for some warm weather. Your two guys are very handsome and I think your son really resembles his dad too. Hope you day is a great one!!
So glad you're blogging! I try to never miss a Thankful Thursday - it's my therapy!
love your list....and that is a good idea, taking a day and mentioning out loud all that you are grateful for. my bf and i both have to take lasix for extra fluids in our body. we eat healthy so it is mostly water we gain. glad you are blogging again. i miss taking a daily walk through the journals....it has become more difficult to do now since there isn't a real sense of COMMUNITY. keep up the great work.....oh, and i don't know if you have one near you, but DOLLAR TREE has books both paperback and hard cover, for $1 each and they are often best sellers. i prefer a real book to a screen. i guess i always will.....have a blessed day.
I am going to do a 'Gratitude diary' at the end of every week... daily seems too much!
It's a good idea though eh, reminds us that life is not all doom and gloom.
I like your list!
Gratitude, a trait missing in a lot of lives!!!
Great entry!
I wish we had a Big Lots. When I do go, I like the makeup and holiday decor.
What did you do all alone? dance in your underwear and tube socks?
Nice being recognized
We need some rain but I do love Mr. Sun
Posting photos is the same as before
You sure have a lot to be grateful for. Good for you for knowing!! Some people take their blessings for granted. We're not swimming yet. But will be as soon as hubby gets the solar blankie on it. The grands are more than ready. We had some much much needed rain last week. Now it's time for some sunbaking. Keep that upbeat attitude. It's contagious. (I love Big Lots! too.)
I picked up some of those BIG LOTS paperbacks too. Couldn't believe the prices. Sitting by water, be it a pool or ocean would really float my boat. I'm glad you have this time to enjoy. LOVED your list. I'm thankful to be alive. watching and waiting about my daughter. take care.
Very nice post Lyn.You have lots to be grateful for.I am thankful for small mercy's every day.Take Care God Bless Kath.
Sorry the comment is rather late, just catching up now on boggger, had to take a little time out this week. xx
Love your gratitude list. I have been keeping a gratitude journal for many years now. It really helps me keep focused on the good, wonderful, "SHINY" moments in life instead of the negative things. I'm glad to see you posting again. Here is link to one of my journals. It has been awhile since I have posted though I plan to post shortly.
