So it was my Birthday!!I think perhaps the last one I'll be happy about..next year is the big 5-0!! Not looking forward to that one at all...I had a good time it was my sons friends birthday too..he turned 21 so we went to the local Pub on the river for a few drinks and some nibbles and then back here. It was a fun night and I thought it kind of cool that the youngsters wanted to hang out with this old broad!
I've been working in the back yard..it's starting to look good..the grass is slowly coming in green..the Azaleas are in full bloom and the birds have returned..Ryan replaced the landscape timbers around two of my flower beds out front and all the hanging baskets have been replanted..I have 16 in all!!
This week is spring break here in Florida..I am hoping to get a night in a hotel on the beach with my friend Jen and her daughter for a mini getaway ..she is 6 and the idea of a night in a hotel on the Beach with a pool etc is so cool!!
One month to go till hubby gets home...starting to feel real now...for him and for me...looking forward to our Holiday now too...life is pretty good right now in my neck of the woods I have to say...

I hope the next one the Hubby can celebrate with you. I always hated deployments on special days!!!! I spent our first anniversary at Saros Bay Turkey in 1957.
I know he missed you on this special day!!!!
Happy Birthday! What a wonderful age you are! Years never bother me, I'm just so thankful for them as they come. How nice to be enjoying sunshine and flowers. We have a forecast of snow later in the week! Wow, it is getting close now for your trip and your hubby's homecoming. How exciting. One month is going to fly by.
