Roundtrip ticket to anywhere... ;-)

Good Morning campers!!

How are we all this fine morning? I am off again today..I was going to go into work this morning but as we only have one Dr. we are not very busy and the other girl needed the hours so here I am...;-)

Not a lot to report this morning...I have recovered from our trip...still can't believe how much we managed to squeeze in in 4 days...I sent them a beautiful Thomas Kincaide Christmas center piece as a thank you gift..it has a chapel in the middle of it ..really pretty..the least I could do for such a wonderful weekend...speaking of which I faxed my receipts to AirTran and they offered me either $75 in cash or a round trip ticket anywhere Airtran flys...I obviously took the ticket so who wants a visitor???   ;-)

I am almost done with my Christmas shopping..just a couple of small items left to get...that's a good thing because I have such a busy schedule coming up..hubby's squadron party is Thursday night downtown at the Omni..I have actually bought a dress to wear..I know I know ..don't faint..me in a dress <sigh> if I could find a pic of it I would show you but I guess I will just have to take one of me in it..it is a Vera Wang...I swear her bringing  her line to Kohl's could be the death of my wallet...;-)

Hubby is home again after a whirlwind trip to Tennessee..I have a funny about that one..his mobile rang our house..by mistake..it must have been in his pocket and when he sat down it dialed..well he had no idea..so hear I am listening in on his conversation...LOL.. lucky for him he was telling boring "war" stories that I have heard a 100 times already...;-)  I tried whistling down the phone ..hollering...he didn't hear me so I hung up...LOL...

Okay I have rambled on enough this morning..have a great weekend everyone...

Here are my five..I haven't done this in a while...

1. Stocking hanging on our nurses stations with our names on them....

2.. Christmas lights...

3... the scents of the season...it smells so good everywhere..

4....poinsettias...

5..... the joy in the air..wish this feeling of goodwill to all men could last all year....

My daughter calls me all the time on accident! lol  Sometimes her conversations are pretty interesting...I even tried the air horn and she didn't hear it!

My husband does that with sitting on his cell phone on a regular basis. I have to tell him, "Your ass called me again today. We had a nice conversation." I never hear any juicy conversations, either. Just Geek-speak. Yawn. --Cin

sounds like all is right in your world....i hope we get to see you in that pretty dress...someone at work last night said their cell phone rang and it was their cat calling from home..the cat had landed on the cell that was on the shelf.

It sounds like everything is coming up roses in your little corner of the world.  You better have a picture taken of you in "the" dress!  My goodness, how the other half live! lol  My boss's  had Vera Wang design her save the date card for her daughter's upcoming wedding, and they have bought a Vera Wang wedding dress.  I probably can't even imagine how much it might have cost....we won't tell her that Vera Wang is selling a line of clothes in Kohl's . . . it might depress her.
Have a great weekend!

that is so funny about your husband and his cell phone.  Can you imagine if he was having one of those silly "makes them feel good" flirty talks with a waitress or something? lol

I once got a late call once from this idiot I used to date.  He must of sat on his phone or something.  He was talking away at some mountain bar with music blaring, and he was talking to some girl.  It was very interesting.  He never knew I was listening.  He was such an idiot!  Julie :)  Have a happy day!

LOL at your hubby. The other day, my cousin called and left a message on mine.  I could hear her and her hubby talking for about 5 minutes then they hung up.  She was actually trying to call my home phone, not my cell.

A friend of  mine accidentally rang me from his mobile once. I had the pleasure of him chastising his kids for ten minutes whilst I was was whistling and screaming back at him. I gave up in the end. I never did ask him how much that call cost him.

My brother sometimes does the mobile phone thing,  My name starting with 'A' it's 1st on his list and he fiddles with his phone in his pocket in the pub.  I can only ever make out a lot of noise though, never what they are saying.  But until he realises and cuts his call off I can;t use my mobile.
