Explanation....
Many of you have asked about the crowns my family were wearing in the Christmas photos..they come inside the crackers we pull during Christmas dinner..please click on the link below for a full explanation...:-)
ha ha ha! Thanks for the explanation - there are so many words that both cultures use that have completely different meanings. I could not for the life of me figure out how and why you would pull a cracker ("our" cracker, I think is the equivalent of a bisquit to you ?) Either that, or I was worried you'd "gone crackers", meaning crazy... Anyway, thanks for sharing that! xoxo MeMeadow
I have some vague memories of these from when I briefly lived in England. Mostly I remember Boxing day - I was so baffled by that day when I first moved there. :-)
Thanks for the info. I went to the site and read a little, don't have too much time tonight..They have a school listed that invites people to send postcards as a way for the kids to find out about life in different areas of the world..Very interesting. Have a great upcoming week... Sheri
