Hump Day

It's Wednesday. I am off today. that is a good thing. I have been training a new girl to work the front desk at the clinic. I am happy about that because then the MA's will not have to work up front. We can concentrate on the clinical side of things. The new girl is Bosnian. Her story is amazing. Her and her family are very brave. Now I am not the only one at the clinic with an accent  ;-) Most people ask me if i am from Australia..guess it's because I have been over here so long. My family back home think I sound like a "yank" everyone over here thinksI have a nice accent...guess wherever I go I sound different aye??

 

I have got to give a shout out to Lisa Jo..is she or she not the best journal Pimp a girl could ask for?? I am tickled to death at the attention my journal has received...I honestly didn't think anyone would read it..and really I know that's not the point of it..BUT come on..we all wanna be read!!! ;-)  Thank you Lisa Jo!! If I said the "L" word freely it would certainly apply to you!!

 

Well my kitchen is in..oh my..it looks bloody gorgeous..is that ok to say about my own kitchen?? I will put pics up when I get some..I do not have a digital camera..shame on me..but I do have my trusty canon sure shot so I will put up pics when I can... the new counter tops and cabinets make the world of difference and we got all new stainless steel appliance's..it looks so shiny!!!! We have ummed and ahhed about doing this kitchen for years..we didn't know if we were going to stay here or move..when Lester got orders back here we decided to stay in this house..the newer homes around here have no land..we are lucky enough to have almost an acre..and we have a beautiful in ground pool..it's almost a necessity here in Florida...anyway moving just didn't seem worth it so we cashed in some equity and have been fixing up the place... it's fun actually...home depot and Lowes have replaced Kohl's and belk's for me..lol...

Did I tell you we are planning trip home to Uk in July?? I am so happy... and my darling old dad has even offered to chip in for the tickets..bless his heart..he will not fly anymore and so he says he will help pay for us to come see him.. I am glad because I need to see him..he won't be here forever.. I learned the hard way when I  lost my Mum suddenly like that... i will do an entry on that one day..still makes me bawl so not going there today...

 

Well i had better get my lard arse in gear here.. i have to put my kitchen back together...I feel like we moved or something..everything is everywhere in boxes...
