I love fridays. Didn't post an entry yesterday. yesterday was  a weird day. Hung about the house all day waiting for the cable guy to come and figure out why I can't get certain channels. He fixed it. had to go up in the attic..poor guy was sweating so bad..but I now get all the channels I pay for and clearer too..love my cable not that I watch a lot of tv but when you don't have it you want it...kind of like the diet thing..but thats a whole other subject... ;-)

 

DH is playing in this big Golf Tournament this weekend..the first round is today.. tonight I have to go and have drinks and Hor D'orves <sp> with him after..I don't want to go I hate "foo foo" functions  as I  call them and this one is at the Country Club.. I so hate any kind of "function" dh says this will be good practice for the Master Chiefs wife duties I will have... what?? OMFG I have duties?? Hmmm... I am not in the freaking Navy!!  Seriously..I do not like to speak in public, do not like to draw attention to myself.. and believe it or not I am shy till you get to know me.. Guess I will have to suck it up though huh...anyone else feel the same?? I think it's a female thing... <sigh>

It is gorgeous here today..sunny and breezy and in the 80's  ... I need to go run a few errands and then I want to come home and read by the pool.. I have got all the housework and  laundry done so I can enjoy my afternoon guilt free... ;-)

Update on the kitchen..the tile is in..it looks great..BUT when they took down the hideous fleurescent light the celing came with it..well part of it...so I don't have a kitchen light at the moment..just the one above the stove and the one above the sink... so now we have to get that fixed..and my DH..god love him..is not a handy man at all..this drives me nuts..we have to get people in to do everything.. I grew up with a dad that did everything himself..we never hired anyone to do anything..my brother has gutted and remodeled 4 houses himself..I sometimes say it would be cheaper to fly my brother in for a week and let him do all my jobs for me..I feel bad for Dh because he feels like a fool sometimes..and I don't help..;-) but it's not his fault..his dad was disabled and therefore couldn't do anything around the house so Lester never learned how.. he has his qualities though..he keeps the outside of the house immaculate..he washes the cars.. he will TRY to fix things...BUT he often makes things worse..it is a standing joke in our house..and at many a barbeque.. bless his heart..can't be good at everything can we love??  ;-)

 

Well I have probably bored you to tears by now..and I need to get a move on  the day is a wasting..have agood weekend everyone..TTFN..
