Good Morning Campers....
How is everyone this morning?? It rained all day here yesterday ..it reminded me of rainy days back home...today everything is positively soaked outside but the rain has stopped...we needed a good soaking though...
So it's that time of the year again..the time for joy..sparkle..fairy lights..candles..carols...smiles..whispers..secrets..ornaments..trees..giant blown up Santa's bobbing in the wind on the front lawns...wrapping paper...red blouses..Christmas shaped everything...snowflakes..real and others hung on the tree...hustle and bustle ..and I LOVE every minute of it!! For some reason..perhaps the dreaded economy..everyone seems to be more in the spirit of Christmas than ever....perhaps this is just the little boost we all need to our spirits...hard to be in a bad mood when the whole world seems brighter and merrier and just plain 'ol happy!! Don't you just love this time of year??
Well other than being all merry and everything things are going pretty good here in my neck of the woods..the Christmas cards are trickling in...the tree is up and decorated..the lights are hung..the pressies are almost all bought and wrapped...I have even been enjoying the fireplace the last couple of nights...hubby is now back in Guam but he is flying to Iraq at Christmas to support his troops there..what an awesome Master Chief he is! he did not have to go but he volunteered..he said if he couldn't be home with us then he wanted to be with his "other family" the young guys that are serving on the front lines...yes he is that kind of a guy and one of the reasons I love him... ;-) We had a nice visit..it was nice just to hang out with him..he did a few things on the honey-do list but mostly we just spent time together as a family....
Not much else to tall you..just wanted to check in with you all...be safe and warm out there and remember to soak up this joyous feeling!!

The tree look beautiful, especially in that room.
Have a good week!
So glad you had a relaxing visit with your husband. I'm sure it's times like this (when you are away from one another for long periods) that make you really appreciate every little second with him and him and he with his family. He sounds like a man with a huge heart, who is more concerned about others than himself...what a lucky woman you are (and what a lucky guy he is to have YOU!). I hope you and your family have a beautiful, memory filled Christmas!
xoxo to you Lyn, the sweetest blogger I've met to date!
Merry Christmas to you Lyn! Your tree is beautiful and must be a delight to your neighbors who get to see it through those wonderful windows. I'm glad you had a nice visit with your hubby and think he is very good to visit his other family during the holidays. Those young guys need it and will be learning a lot from his good example.
I love that you are getting the full enjoyment out of the season.
Merry Christmas, your tree looks awesome. And much like ours, overflowing with gifts! lol! xx
