Good Morning Campers!!
Hope everyone had a nice weekend...mine was okay...nothing too exciting...was without a car Saturday..hubby's friend fixed a few minor things that needed doing..so I was home all day watching way too much TV...Sunday I went to the Flea Market..then to lunch with my Daughter and to the movies to see "Ugly Truth"..it was hilarious!! We cooked Ribs for dinner last night..that's about it for my weekend...
We are going to have a Barbecue/going away Party for hubby on August 29th...I hope the weather will cooperate...it has been awful here lately...lots of rain..our yard keeps flooding because of it...hubby is actually going to find some sandbags this week because the last big storm caused water to seep into the Florida room....
My dad is going to come over with my BF Di!! I am so excited!! I never thought he would come without my sister but Di is like family anyway and she will take care of him at the airport and stuff...it's been 2 years since he was here...It is sad that they will miss hubby by days but nothing we can do about that...
Not a whole lot write about ...LOL..but thought I would do an entry anyway...hope everyone is doing okay...I see a lot of you on face book...;-)

Big Poppa is ugly, and rumor has it that Kim even cheats on him with other married men. I hear that he isn't the only married man that pays her bills.

Time always flies it seems. I remember too when you dad visited and your hubby just returned home yesterday it seems... Hope all goes well with the party. That's my oldest's birthday too so we'll be partying of sorts also. Glad you've got company coming in. Will take away some of the stress of your hubby leaving. Hugs...

Gosh, I have heard about the weather...hurricane Bill, is it? I know the media/news tend to over exaggerate sometimes--but hope you keep dry and safe. Hubby is leaving? I'm sorry! At least your dad and your friend will be here to visit soon--it will help you cope! :)
Sounds like you had a nice weekend. I can't believe summer is almost over (well, not for you. LOL) Our neighbor's leaves on her maple tree have nearly all died-one of the first signs that summer is ending. :( We have had a helluva time with algae in our pool. FINALLY I had to go online and diagnose it myself. Hubby printed out what we needed & got the pool cleared up in just a few hours. Anyway. When's your hub leaving? Do you know how long he'll be gone fore? Yesterday was our 37th anniversary. I had planned to do an entry all day & never got round to it. Did hit facebook a couple times. LOL
For some reason, I haven't even heard of "Ugly Truth". We don't go to movies much. DH is on call all the time so we never know when he'll go to work in a small window. Just something you get used to. I guess. LOL
Well, I hope weather holds for your DHs party. Am excited for you to see your Dad & friend. My side of the family was only 500 miles away-not that parents are gone, we never go up there (KS). Take care & have a good week!!
