THE BRIT IS BACK...
Good Morning Campers!!I am back from our vacation to Myrtle Beach....it was a very relaxing week..our condo was on the the beach and as we were in the "Penthouse" (condo talk for top floor) we had an amazing view of the ocean ...the Condo itself was nice...2 bedroom 2 bath with washer dryer..which was a godsend for the towels and bathing suits etc...the only downside was it was Senior week (woop woop!) and Ryan got sick and ended up in the ER with a 103 fever...he got tested for Flu..Mono and Strep ..all came back negative but the Dr. gave him a Z -pak..and prednisone for the swelling...his tonsils were almost touching! he also got Phenergan for his nausea and Vicodin for pain....after that he was fine but the stubborn little shit refused to go to the hospital till flipping Friday..if he had gone on the first day he felt bad he would have enjoyed his vacation instead of "toughing" it out in his room ... But when it's all said and done we had a fab family holiday and we had some great "moments"..we played cards...we played pranks on each other..I got Ryan good my laying between his and True Beauty's beds and hiding while he was in the bathroom..when he got back into bed I slipped my hand in his bed and tugged the sheet..when he looked down I jumped up and yelled "boo"..yes he almost crapped himself...LOL!! We ate out at a different restaurant every night...we went to the Aquarium..we enjoyed the lazy river pool and the beach...we went to the pier...True Beauty and I spent a lot of time together working on our tan...out trip home included a stop for Fireworks....BUT I was glad to get home...Myrtle Beach is okay...but to be honest it has nothing on the beaches here and the area we were in was a bit "dodgy"..we could have just as good a time if we had rented a place on the beach here but the kids voted on Myrtle beach and it was good to get out of Florida for a while if only to realize there is no place like home!! My dog is acting weird by the way...I think he misses my in-laws Yorkie..either that or he got in trouble while we were gone or he is pissed that we left him..whatever it is he is acting weird and I don't like it!Hope everyone is doing okay...I will get around to your Blogs..Happy Belated Fathers day to all you dads out there and all you Mums who pick up the slack for the deadbeat dads!!L xx

I am so glad you had a good time - sounds like a wonderful trip except for the trip to the ER...I have found that the beaches on the west coast of florida just cannot be beat - they are awesome!

Sounds like a great time except for Ryan getting sick;( I know you are glad to get back home.
It's like that...can't wait to leave home & then can't wait to get back. Sounds like your doggie might be mad that you guys left. ha ha
I'm so glad you had a great time! I feel the same way about our beaches. We have beautiful beaches nearby, so why would I pay lots of $$ to go to another beach far away? Ok...maybe Hawaii LOL!

It's always nice to be back home, isn't it?! I think your little doggy is pissed at you for leaving him behind.. My cat used to always poop in the house each time we came back from vacation. It's like, "this is what you get for leaving me behind..." :) Julie
Glad you had a good hols. Where is Myrtle Beach? Best we can manage near us is Cleethorpes.
Still waiting arrival of summer!
The beach sounds great to me no matter where it is. Even the beach here at our Lake is good in the summer time. Glad you had a good time and loads of fun. Nice part of family vacations is the time you get to spend with each other. Hope your dog is feeling better. I know that's a concern.

Wow hun ;) What a great entry about ur vacay. Well not so good too with Ryan getting so sick. dang thats crazy poor guy. I hope he is ok now. Thats so funny too the pranks you all pulled on each other hilarious. I lvoed the one you mentioned you did to Ryan. That was funny i laughed so hard. Thats great too you had girl time with True Beauty and got some tanning done ;) It sounds like a good vacay all in all. Thats great you all got to go to diff places to eat, aquarium. Glad you had a nice time away for th emost part. Sorry to hear Ryan was sick. My ex used to go to Myrtle Beach golfing with his buddies every year. I never did get to go, but would like to one day.

Sounds like a nice relaxing time. We were on vaca at the same time. I won't say that San Diego is better than Nashville though! I'd move there in a heart beat!
