Good Morning Campers...
My post yesterday was not me fishing for comments although we all know I am a bit of a comment whore..;-) It was merely an observation..without sending out a mass email I don't know how to alert people I have posted..you are only allowed 10 emails in the settings..I know myself it is time consuming to go through all the blogs on my dashboard but I know not of any other way... I appreciate your thoughts on this..it appears many of you feel the same way..
I am absolutely in the manic "oh my god he is coming home and I haven't lost 50lbs or organized the house etc" phase..LOL..happens every single time...I am excited..nervous and have butterflies...he has left Japan and is en route via Hawaii and San Diego..ETA is 1400 hours Tuesday...
Please keep my FIL in your prayers..he took a turn for the worse and is back in hospital..he has an infection somewhere..they are doing blood cultures..and he aspirated some vomit and has Pneumonia...poor old guy..he just can't seem to catch a break..he is stable though and in good spirits and anxious for his boy to get home..although he won't be at the homecoming I am confident he will be HERE and we will be stopping by the hospital on the way back from the base for sure...
My plans for today are to stay busy...True Beauty and I are off to the base for one last look at designer handbags (eye roll) then I will be going into death con 1 mode in this house...LOL..Ryan has yard detail and even the dog is getting spruced up..I have to work 12 hours tomorrow so I need to get my to do list done today....

Well, you found the answer. Write something controversial and you will get lots of comments lol. I do disagree with one comment you had who said we write for ourselves. I most certainly do not. I write to try and entertain other people, share my life with them. If I was just writing for myself, I have my own personal diary.
The whole trouble is that we do not have a good and proper alerts system on here. Yes, there is dashboard but after you have commented, those posts do not disappear from there so you are left with a whole list and cannot always remember if you have been there or not. As for feedblitz, that sends you the whole post so people probably read that way.
It is much more time consuming than J-Land. Shame really. I wish Blogger coud come out with a similar alerts system.
Oh, by the way. Some people do multiple entries per day. I only ever comment on one, unless something really serious is going on.
P.S. Sorry to hear about your FIL. I do hope things improve for him soon.

They take after you and your handsome hubby :) Oh hun i understood again about your entry from yesterday about the followers. You had a right to fish and question about it. I'm sure when your hubby gets home he won't care what your weigh or if the house is organized.
You are right about blogger......it is more time consuming. Why? I can't figure out why, but it is! LOL
Your FIL is in my prayers. As far as the comment whore, I am the survey ho and you can be the comment ho. LOL I wish I'd get more comments sometimes too, and really, I wish I got as much as you. You are very popular, but I have learned that just because we have a lot of readers doesn't mean they aren't reading when the don't comment. Write for you and look at it positively, anyone commenting is a plus and be very happy with a smile on your face.
I can feel your excitement Lyn!! I'm so happy for you. The last few times my ex was away on scheme I found myself dreading his return. It's a horrible way to feel, much better to be excited like you are!! Saying a little prayer for your FIL!!
I just know that hubby wont care what the house looks like or that you dident drop any weight! Just go spend some much needed quality time with him.

I like comments also in my journal, says I have 37 followers but I only get a small handfull of comments anytime that I write. It is what it is :)
