Saturday Morning

Good Morning Campers!!

How's your weekend so far?

I have been so busy since I got back..feels like I haven't stopped...I spent Friday and Saturday cleaning...shopping..running errands...Sunday  was mothers day..Monday Tuesday Wednesday I worked 12 hour days...Thursday more cleaning and errands..also had to take hubby in for dental surgery...Ryan to the Dr for another sore throat..they ran blood tests and discovered he had mono sometime in the past and this may have been a mild reoccurrence...yesterday I took jen to drop her car off to get a brake job ..had lunch with her then got a hair cut which I love by the way....last night was the usual Friday night Margarita and Mexican food...today I have to meet the girls from my old job at the pub by the river...tomorrow I need to do a grocery run to the base and Monday back to work...oh and the midst of my trip did I tell you my FIL had the surgery on his neck?? for his carotid artery? well he did... they gave him 50-50 odds and he made it!! I swear he is like Timex..he just keeps on going! Bless him.... so as you can see my life is crazy busy but I wouldn't have it any other way..it has kept me from thinking about the fact that hubby is leaving for 6 months in 10 days...doesn't seem real at the moment..I am sure when I drop him off on base it will hit me like a ton of bricks ...

I am going to try to get to a few journals this morning. I am sorry I haven't had the time to comment like I usually do....hope everyone has a great weekend!!

MWAH!

Hi, can't remember if I commented on your last entry, I know I meant to but like you I've been running round like a scalded cat.

Loved the photos and hearing about your trip. The picture of Wilton stopped me in my tracks. I didn't think I'd ever been there but I recognised it straightaway. Mike and I went on a long drive one winter's afternoon and that is where we ended up. We had tea and toasted teacakes before returning home in the dark.

Glad to hear FIL made such a good recovery.

Glad the FIL is okay!  I had a case of mono back as a teenager.  I was trying to do it all and then some and the body said uh uh!  LOL.  Will slow you down.  God bless!

Welcome Home Honey!  Just caught up myself and loved the photo entry.  Makes me want to go back 'home' and visit all the places my Mum and Nan always talked about.   Maybe one day I will!  I must say you are being very calm and BRAVE with hubby due to leave so soon and for so long!  You military women leave me in awe!  I really don't know how you do it - but I'll be here if you need me over the coming months.

Thanks for sharing the photos - I loved the one of your dad sitting on the pier and the one of that amazing 'mushroom' shape tree!

Hugs

Sounds like you are super busy. I hope that you and your hubby get plenty of time to spend together before he needs to leave. I can't imagine having to say goodbye to my DH for 6 months. Thank you.

meh.  Deployments.  I hate them.  I'm glad you have people around to keep you busy.  On the upside, at least you get the whole bed to yourself.

Take your vitamins!  All that running around is gonna wear you down!  It's wearing me down and I didn't even do it.  ;-P

I'm loathe to say it because it seems so anti-family, but sometimes having the husband gone for a while can be fun;-0.
Do you have a pool boy & a blender? ~Mary

Keeping busy is good sometimes.  I know you'll be missing your hubby.  10 days is no time at all when you think about it.  'OnYa'-ma
