Good Morning Campers!!
It's coming up on the Anniversary of J Land and some of us are dusting off the old blogs and doing an entry in it's honour..me included by the looks of it..:-) I do write in here sometimes but like most of us I have got used to checking in daily with everyone on FB..and as much as I miss J Land and the tags and long posts I love the convenience of FB and knowing you are all still out there..
I stumbled across the journals one day while reading the message boards I belonged to..anyone remember them?? LOL..anyways it was Lisa (damaged goods) that I first started reading.. she encouraged me to start my own Journal and I did on April 17th 2006..unfortunately for whatever reason Lisa had issues and felt she couldn't trust me to read her Journal anymore..let me tell you that was one of the most hurtful things I have ever gone through and left a sour taste in my mouth and after that J Land lost it's charm for me...it was a huge reality check..BUT I did learn a lesson from it and any time you can learn something it is worth going through it...
Most of the people from back in day I "speak" to every day on Facebook..some people don't like it or "get it" but it is what it is and as I said before I am just happy we are all still in touch with each other..that is the main thing..
Side note...my hubby used to call J Land a cult and now guess what?? He is SO into the FaceBook "cult"...LOL

Great memories Lyn! I miss JLand too. I am grateful for facebook though and being able to stay in touch on there! XXOO
I will always be thankful for JLand and the friends I've met and still continue to blog but cannot seem to interested in FB.
Nothing is perfect, Lyn, and J-land had its downs as well as its ups. But on the whole, it was a good community, a lot better than many I've seen on-line. Here's to its memory, and to its continuation on FB or whichever medium on-line.
Facebook doesn't do it for me Lyn but I'm glad you're happy there. I wondered where all the others had gone to, now I know.

I don't 'do' FB much, I love my blog too much!
My son keeps giving me a bad time about not being active in facebook, LOL. Just can't get into the hang of it. It's like lots of headlines without any chapters to me. I miss J-land.

I don't have time to do facebook. One way and another I spend half my life on the computer as it is. I use Skype occasionally cos it's cheaper than using the phone for calling abroad.
I miss J-land too.

I am still around, I refuse to join Facebook.
I would rather blog. I am sad you aren't around here that often anymore, but it's nice when you do post.
