Good Morning Campers!!!
Been a while since I wrote anything so thought I would sit and get some thoughts down...it has turned cold again here this morning after a few days of beautiful spring like weather..I spent a lovely afternoon out by the pool reading yesterday afternoon...it will be jeans and a sweater again today though...
We haven't really been up to much..hubby has painted the Den..we updated some light fixtures and as I mentioned before we got new picture frames for all the family photos and I have them all proudly displayed in the hallway..I need to charge my camera and take some pics...I am getting used to my new glasses..took a minute to get used to the progressive lenses but now I am enjoying them...we are re-staining the pool deck and are looking for paint to re-paint the pool slide as it has faded over time in the Florida sun....we are also going to tile our front step too...it has been great having the hubby around to knock out his honey-do list before he takes off again...;-)
On a personal note I still haven't spoke with Jen over what happened..she did pay me back some money she owed and txt me to see if I had a nice Valentines day but other than that we have had no contact..she dropped the money in the mailbox...I am still reeling about it all and think we need a little time and distance...
Speaking of valentines day ..hubby and I went to the bookstore and bought books..how romantic huh?? LOL..to be honest there is nowhere I like more than browsing the bookstore so I was happy as can be....and he did give me a beautiful card...I am not big on V Day anyway..too much hype for me... I know I am loved and I don't need a special day to tell me that...
Well I guess that's about it..all is well here in my neck of the woods... I did just post a couple of pics..my BF from UK posted the pics from NYC on face book and I had to share them here... I am off to check out the brand new Big Lots that has opened and I may get my hair hi lighted... that's about it for today...

Reading by the pool sounds great! We had some lovely days here, but it's cold again. Have fun today! Praying things get much better with Jen.
The weather here has been crazy too! Feels almost like summer then the next day its below freezing again. I'm jealous...reading by the pool :)

I would be happy in a book store also. So many books, so little time. Its cool to cold here. Soon though, it will be hot and humid.
It is suppose to be nice today, so I going to venture out. Our weather has gotten so crazy!

It's only 34 degrees here right now. I don't think Spring is ever going to get here.

I so enjoy your easy, informative style of writing. I feel like I have just had a visit with a friend.
We are back in CA. We had some much needed rain while we were gone so our yard and plants are survived well while we were gone.
I unpacked today but have not done much else. I am really missing Marie. It was wonderful getting to meet her and spend a week together. I consider myself blessed and I should count my blessings instead of complaining.
Good luck painting your pool deck. I need to go out and clean up the leaves that have blown into the patio around our pool.

So great to see an entry hun. it looks like things are going well hun. I loved the pics in the last entry. Hun u are just beautiful as always. Your daughter is gorgeous and your son so handsome. Beautiful kids. I know the weather is unreal in fl, isnt it dear, lol. Here we were in 8os last week now going down to the 40s, 30s, crazy lmao. Soon enough though the warm weather will be back and for good, lol. Im so glad hubby & u has gotten things done around the house. That you got all your pic frames up with the fam pics. A new BIG LOTS?! That sounds like fun! :) Valentines Day at the bookstore sounds romantic enough for me..every day should be V Day. Doesn't matter what you do, as long as you are together. Your kids look like models! They are beautiful! Julie
Great catching up with you this morning Lyn! I am finally starting to feel a bit normal again after being jet lagged all week. Oh a read by the pool sounds so nice!!! I can see definite signs of spring here. The dafs are coming up and the snow drops and crocus are all in bloom and the rose bush by the kitchen window is starting to bud. Yayy!!!

Sounds like a great V-day to me. My husband also took me to Barnes & Nobles and I got to buy a bunch of books for myself and Gia. I'm with you on thinking that browsing through books is a great thing. You guys sound VERY busy getting stuff done around the house, hopefully you are also finding some down time together too. I'm sorry things with your bf haven't gotten back to the way they were, hopefully time will help.
How lovely to be able to read by the pool in February ,I would enjoy a trip to the book shop too ,Well done getting all those jobs around the house and garden done ..love Jan xx
